Temperature selection
- Press buttons 1 and 2 ››› Fig. 116 to precisely adjust the target climate temperature for the rear passenger zone of your Seat Leon.
Air recirculation
Manual air recirculation mode prevents outside ambient
air from entering the vehicle cabin.
When outside summer temperatures are extremely high, it is advisable to select manual air recirculation for a short period of time to recirculate and cool the interior air of your Seat Leon more quickly.
For safety and visibility reasons, air recirculation is automatically disconnected
whenever the max defrost button
is pressed or whenever optical humidity sensors detect that the vehicle's windows are beginning to mist up.
Switching air recirculation on and off
- Press the dedicated
button on the climate control interface to switch
air recirculation mode
on or off as needed.
WARNING Stuffy, stale air trapped inside the cabin increases driver fatigue and reduces concentration levels, which could possibly result in a serious traffic accident.
- Never leave the fresh air blower fan turned off or keep air recirculation active for extended periods of time, as the air inside the vehicle interior will not be replenished with fresh oxygen.
NOTICE In vehicles equipped with an air conditioning system, never smoke inside the cabin while air recirculation is switched on.
Smoke particulates and nicotine will be drawn into the system and deposited permanently on the cooling evaporator core and on the active combination filter, causing lasting, unpleasant stale odours.
Note When outside ambient temperatures are very high, briefly switching on the interior air recirculation mode helps chill the cabin air of your Seat Leon much more quickly.
