Should the central locking fail or the 12-volt battery run completely flat, you can still unlock the rear lid manually from inside the luggage compartment of your Seat Leon.
A small recessed access slot is built into the interior trim panel of the tailgate, granting direct mechanical access to the latch release mechanism.
Unlocking the rear lid from inside the luggage compartment
- Insert the emergency key blade into the release slot and slide the key in the direction of the arrow until the latch mechanical catch disengages ››› Fig. 84, ››› Fig. 85.
