Seat Leon >> Driving data display
The driving data display provides real-time access to a comprehensive suite of trip statistics, performance metrics, and fuel consumption values directly on your Seat Leon dashboard.
Change from one display to another
- Rotate the right thumbwheel located on the multifunction steering wheel to cycle through available screens.
Changing memory
- Depending on the selected view layout, navigate to Driving data and press either the left arrow key or the OK button on the multifunction steering wheel to toggle between memory banks:
- Since start: This memory records trip data and fuel usage from the moment the journey begins, and is automatically cleared if the vehicle is parked or the journey is interrupted for more than 2 hours.
- Since refuel: This memory stores cumulative journey data and consumption statistics gathered since your last refueling stop, and resets automatically whenever new fuel is added to the tank.
- Long-term: This memory accumulates travel statistics over an extended period—up to a maximum of 19 hours and 59 minutes or 99 hours and 59 minutes, or up to 1999.9 km or 9999.9 km. Once any of these operational thresholds is exceeded (varying by instrument cluster version), the memory resets automatically.
Delete journey data presets
- Select the specific journey memory you wish to clear—either "Since start" or "Long-term". Note that the "Since refuelling" memory can only be reset automatically upon refueling.
- Press and hold the designated selection button on the multifunction steering wheel for approximately 2 seconds to wipe the stored data.
Select the instructions
Metrics on the instrument cluster are selected manually using the control buttons on the multifunction steering wheel. To browse through the available information screens, simply rotate the right-hand thumbwheel upward or downward.
- Current consumption: Displays real-time fuel consumption throughout your journey in litres per 100 km, or in litres per hour when the engine is running while the vehicle is stationary.
- Average consumption: Calculates and displays the average fuel usage after driving for approximately 300 metres.
Travelling time: Indicates the elapsed hours (h) and minutes (min) since the ignition was switched on.
- Range: Estimates the approximate remaining driving distance in km that can be covered with current fuel reserves if your driving style remains unchanged.
- AdBlue range: Estimates the approximate distance in km that can still be traveled with the current level of the AdBlue tank under your present driving style. This warning indication appears automatically when remaining range drops below 2,400 km and cannot be manually disabled.
- Distance travelled: Registers the total distance covered in km or miles since the ignition was last switched on.
- Average speed: Computes and displays the average travel speed after driving for approximately 100 metres.
- Boost/Torque: Displays the current power output and torque generated by the internal combustion engine (this indicator does not register pure electric motor operation).
Oil temperature display
The engine reaches its proper operating temperature when, under normal driving conditions, the oil temperature stabilizes between 80ºC (176ºF) and 120ºC (248ºF). If the engine is subjected to heavy loads or high performance demands while outside ambient temperatures are elevated, the engine oil temperature may rise. This behavior is completely normal as long as warning lamps
or
do not appear on the dashboard display.
