Seat Leon >> Power meter
✓ Valid for: hybrid vehicles

Fig. 5 Digital instrument cluster: Power meter
The following detailed functional displays can be observed on the Power meter: ››› Fig. 5.
- Green zone (Charge). The vehicle recovers electrical energy during deceleration and braking.
- Blue zone (Power %). Driving in pure Electric Mode. Indicates the percentage of electrical power currently being used and the maximum amount of power available.
- Revolutions per minute tracking the internal combustion engine when it is actively running.
The power meter provides a clear visual overview of the electric drive usage level in your Seat Leon. The power meter bar indicates the current energy output in real time.
A finer colored border indicates the extent to which propulsion power can currently be utilized. Depending on the selected driving program and the momentary availability of high-voltage electrical power, the boundaries of these colored zones can vary dynamically.
Availability of Boost on screen
When the vehicle is started, the "READY" indicator light extinguishes and the instrument cluster displays Boost availability information regarding the additional power reserves currently accessible.

Fig. 6 In the digital instrument cluster: Boost
availability display
- Additional powertrain power available.
- Additional power temporarily not available.
- Boost additional power activated and delivering maximum output.
If rapid acceleration is requested—such as by depressing the accelerator pedal into the Kick-Down position—the Boost function is activated, allowing your Seat Leon to drive for a short period using the combined maximum power output from both the electric motor and the internal combustion engine. This dynamic state is indicated when the area below the RPM indicator turns blue.
Note The Boost function consumes a substantial amount of electrical energy and is therefore restricted to short periods of availability.
WARNING When the vehicle's electrical system experiences a reduced performance capability, it can alter vehicle handling characteristics, such as modifying acceleration response. This unexpected change can lead to accidents and severe or even fatal personal injuries.
- Always adapt your driving speed and style to match prevailing visibility, weather, road surface, and traffic conditions, while keeping the charge level of the high-voltage battery in mind.
- Always ensure that the high-voltage battery remains sufficiently charged for your journey requirements.
