Fitting location overview - ABS/ESP
- - ABS hydraulic unit - N55-
with ABS control unit - J104-
- The hydraulic pump for the ABS - V64- cannot be changed
- The ABS control unit -
J104- includes the following
components:
- Lateral acceleration sender - G200-
- Yaw rate sender - G202-
- Brake pressure sender 1 - G201-
- These components cannot be change individually.
- - Front right speed sensor -
G45-
- Can be checked in "Guided fault finding" using - Vehicle diagnostic tester
- - TCS and ESP button -
E256-
- The fitting location is according to the version in the centre console
- Can be checked in "Guided fault finding" using - Vehicle diagnostic tester
- Removing and installing
- - Rear right speed sensor - G44-
- Can be checked in "Guided fault finding" using - Vehicle diagnostic tester
- - Brake line
- To the rear right brake calliper
- 14 Nm
WARNING
Do not bend the brake lines.
Any damaged brake lines must be renewed.
- - Brake line
- To the rear left brake calliper
- 14 Nm
WARNING
Do not bend the brake lines.
Any damaged brake lines must be renewed.
- - Rear left speed sensor - G46-
- Can be checked in "Guided fault finding" using - Vehicle diagnostic tester
- - Front left speed sensor - G47-
- Can be checked in "Guided fault finding" using - Vehicle diagnostic tester
- - Brake light switch - F63-
- Location: on brake master cylinder.
