Seat Leon >> Managing the infotainment system
You can execute all vehicle functions and adjust system preferences using the dedicated controls of your Seat Leon infotainment unit.
Depending on the specific equipment and model trim, the infotainment system features different control interfaces:
- A central high-resolution touch screen.
- Tactile touch zones positioned outside the main screen area, such as the touch slider for Volume (+ -).
Open the Quick Guide
Comprehensive information, operating tips, and helpful explanations can be found directly within the built-in Infotainment Quick Guide.
- Press MENU > Help on the screen.
Connecting and disconnecting the infotainment system
The infotainment system automatically powers on when the vehicle ignition is switched on, unless it has been manually turned off beforehand.
Upon startup, the infotainment system activates using the last active volume level set, provided that this does not exceed the programmed maximum start-up volume limit.
The system shuts down automatically when the driver's door is opened, provided the ignition was switched off beforehand.
Moving objects and adjusting volume
Drag or swipe items across the screen to adjust settings, manipulate scrollable buttons, or rearrange custom menu areas.
Depending on your Seat Leon's equipment level, menus and digital display layouts can be fully customized.
Zooming into and out of images or map sizes
Tip: use your thumb and index finger simultaneously.
- Place both fingers on the map display at the same time and keep them resting on the glass surface.
- To enlarge the view, slowly slide your fingers apart. To reduce the map scale, slowly bring your fingers closer together.
Note If you turn on the infotainment system manually while the ignition is switched off, it will automatically shut down after approximately 30 minutes to protect the vehicle battery.
Note As with most state-of-the-art computer and electronic systems, under certain circumstances the software may need to be rebooted to ensure proper operational performance. To perform a system reset, press and hold the On/Off button of the infotainment system for approximately 15 seconds until the SEAT logo appears on the display.

You can customize the top menu bar or the HOME view to quickly access your favorite or most frequently used functions.
