Seat Leon yellow ACC not available warning indicator light icon ACC not available

The indicator lamp lights up in yellow on the instrument cluster:

  • The front radar sensor is heavily soiled, blocked with grime, or incorrectly aligned.

Always take the important safety warnings and limitations described at the beginning of this chapter into account.

  • A temporary system fault or electronic defect has occurred. Turn off your Seat Leon ignition completely and switch it on again after a few minutes to reset the sensors.
  • If the functional problem persists, consult an authorized specialized workshop for diagnosis.

The ACC does not work as expected

  • Make sure that all operational environmental conditions are fully met for the front radar sensor to operate properly.
  • If the friction brakes overheat due to intensive use, ACC speed regulation stops automatically.

Wait for the braking system to cool down completely and check the operation of the ACC again.

  • Subtle mechanical or electrical noises heard during automatic ACC braking interventions are completely normal and do not indicate any mechanical anomalies.

The following conditions may lead the ACC not to react:

  • The accelerator pedal or service brake pedal is actively depressed by the driver.
  • No forward gear is engaged, or the vehicle transmission is currently in reverse gear (R).
  • The vehicle is actively reversing.
  • The Electronic Stability Control (ESC) is actively regulating vehicle dynamics.
  • The driver is not wearing their seat belt.
  • The engine RPM is either excessively high or too low.
  • One of the vehicle brake lights is faulty or blown.
  • A trailer brake light connection is faulty.
  • The mechanical or electronic parking brake is applied.
  • Driving on an excessive slope or steep gradient that exceeds system limits.
