  • Torque wrenches - V.A.G 1410-

Self-levelling suspension

Removing

  • Pull seal off entire length of plenum chamber cover.
  • Unclip the filler piece.
  • Unhook the clips -2-.
  • Lift plenum chamber cover -1- not more than 60 mm.

  • Release electrical connector -1- and pull off.
  • Unscrew bolt -2-.
  • Remove front body acceleration sender .

Installing

Carry out installation in the reverse sequence, noting the following:

  • Insert front body acceleration sender -1- so that connector -arrow- points opposite the normal direction of travel.
  • Tighten bolt -2- for front body acceleration sender -1-.

Installation position: angle tolerance -a- is +-10º. Installation position of front body acceleration sender may deviate by this angle along the longitudinal axis of the vehicle.

  • Perform basic setting of wheel damper electronics - Vehicle diagnostic tester.
