Removal:
- Turn off the ignition and all electricity consumers.
Vehicles without access and start authorisation system
- Remove ignition key, if fitted.
Vehicles with access and start authorisation system
- Store ignition key outside the vehicle to prevent the ignition from being switched on unintentionally.
Continued for all vehicles
- Disconnect battery.
- Remove knee airbag on driver's side.
- Screw out the bolt -1- and detach the driver side footwell vent -2-.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
Removing and installing front passenger side footwell vents
Removal:
- Turn off the ignition and all electricity consumers.
Vehicles without access and start authorisation system
- Remove ignition key, if fitted.
Vehicles with access and start authorisation system
- Store ignition key outside the vehicle to prevent the ignition from being switched on unintentionally.
Continued for all vehicles
- Unscrew the bolt -3-.
- Disengage the retaining tab -arrow- and remove the vent -2- from the air distributor body -1- and remove the vent -2-.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
