Throughout the operational lifespan of your Seat Leon, you can modify or adjust the service assignments shown here as needed.

Once you activate service management within the central infotainment system, you can easily view and verify which specific digital services are active and available for your vehicle.

In certain countries or upon renewing a CONNECT contract, the bundled services may be configured differently than described here. Available features may also vary depending on the model year of your car. The listed services correspond directly to the official SEAT CONNECT platform.

SEAT CONNECT services

If your Seat Leon is equipped with either the Media System + or Navi System + setup, your online service package includes SEAT CONNECT. The following core digital services are included:

• Breakdown call: direct connection to roadside assistance services in the event of a mechanical issue.
• Customer care: easy access to customer support representatives for general vehicle inquiries.
• Service appointment planning: automatic or manual scheduling of upcoming routine maintenance visits.
• Customisation: saving and syncing personal driver profiles and vehicle preferences via the cloud.
• Remote heating and ventilation: pre-conditioning the vehicle cabin temperature remotely prior to entry.
• Remote unlock: locking or unlocking the vehicle doors remotely via the smartphone application.
• Horn and turn signals: triggering the horn and hazard flasher lights remotely to locate your parked car.
• Vehicle status incl. doors and lights: checking remotely whether doors, windows, and lights are closed or off.
• Driving data: reviewing statistics such as average fuel consumption, travel time, and trip distances.

• Remote air conditioning: setting electric climate control schedules while plugged in to pre-condition the cabin.
• Electrical power manager: setting high-voltage battery charging limits and managing battery usage modes.
• Remote vehicle charging: starting, stopping, and scheduling high-voltage battery charging sessions remotely.
• Search for charging stations: locating compatible public EV charging points along your route with real-time status.

SEAT CONNECT individual options

• In-Car Applications: functional apps that can be purchased and installed directly onto your Seat Leon infotainment system via the integrated Online Store, provided they are supported. Accessing the Online Store requires a factory navigation system.
• Data package: flexible pay-per-use cellular data plans to enable online connectivity functions, such as 2 GB per month for streaming and browsing.

Note

• The statutory public emergency call service (eCall) remains active and fully functional regardless of whether a user is logged into the infotainment system.
• Accessing driver profile customisation and purchasing In-Car Apps require logging into the Infotainment system and pairing the vehicle with an active SEAT CONNECT account.

Activation of SEAT CONNECT and S-PIN

Complete the following sequential steps to successfully activate SEAT CONNECT services (including user registration) on your Seat Leon:

1. Switch on the vehicle ignition and power on the central infotainment system.

2. Adjust your privacy settings to enable "Tracking" mode, allowing necessary location data transmission.

3. Navigate through the touchscreen menu: select > Users, then tap the icon to add a new driver account.

4. Follow the step-by-step instructions displayed on the screen to download the official My SEAT mobile app onto your smartphone.

5. Proceed through the app prompts to register and create your personal SEAT ID.

6. Review and accept the terms of the Privacy Policy.

7. Enter your vehicle identification number (VIN) to link your Seat Leon to your personal user account.

8. Review and verify your personal account details for accuracy.

9. Select your preferred SEAT CONNECT online services package tier.

10. Open the smartphone app and scan the unique activation QR code generated on the infotainment screen.

S-PIN

The S-PIN is a secure multi-digit security code that you configure right after completing your initial SEAT CONNECT registration.

When choosing your S-PIN, avoid using obvious numerical patterns, repeating digits, or easily guessable dates of birth.

You can update or modify your S-PIN at any time within your SEAT CONNECT user portal under "Account settings".

Entering the S-PIN is required to protect your user profile from unauthorized changes or to execute sensitive SEAT CONNECT features linked to your vehicle's remote security operations.

You must keep your secret S-PIN strictly confidential and never share it with others.

If you suspect your S-PIN has been disclosed to third parties, change it immediately in your account settings for security reasons.
