Seat Leon >> Junction assist
Junction Assist integrated into your Seat Leon can actively prevent the vehicle from colliding with cross traffic when pulling out of an exit or entering a busy intersection or junction.
If there is an acute risk of a collision when leaving a side exit or merging into a junction, Junction Assist can issue immediate visual and audible warnings while automatically applying the vehicle brakes.
This intelligent intervention can substantially reduce the probability and severity of an accident.
Displays
At lower operating speeds, the parking and assist display utilizes intuitive coloured segments to visualize detected crossing traffic around your car.

Fig. 143 In the infotainment system: junction
assist display.
Yellow segment: Junction assistant has detected approaching crossing traffic. Exercise caution, pay close attention, and be prepared to brake immediately.
Red segment: Junction assist has detected an imminent potential collision with crossing traffic.
Brake immediately! Depending on the vehicle configuration and driving situation, these coloured directional arrows may also be projected onto the head-up display or shown directly on the digital instrument cluster. They clearly indicate the lateral direction from which cross traffic is approaching your car.
Speed range
Junction assist is available across a broad operating speed range spanning from a complete standstill at 0 km/h (0 mph) up to approximately 65 km/h (close to 40 mph).
Limitations
Junction assist cannot react to road users who are completely hidden behind physical structures, buildings, or other larger vehicles. Road users emerging suddenly from a previously concealed location may only be detected with a noticeable delay.
Always keep the foundational limitations and safety constraints of the Front Assist system firmly in mind.
