Eco-efficient driving assistance integrated into your Seat Leon helps you drive with foresight, care, and reduced energy consumption by providing intuitive visual instructions superimposed directly onto the digital cockpit instrument cluster, perfectly adapted to the driving situation.

Whenever your vehicle approaches upcoming traffic features—such as an intersection, a roundabout, a sharp curve, or a section of road with a lower speed limit—the advisory symbol is displayed alongside a specific contextual event notification on the digital instrument cluster screen ››› Fig. 135.

As soon as you follow the advisory indication and lift your foot off the accelerator pedal, your Seat Leon automatically adapts its brake energy recuperation levels and vehicle speed, calculating the optimum deceleration curve based on the currently selected drive profile and the precise distance remaining to the traffic event.

Eco Assist gathers routing data from the infotainment system's navigation database and combines it with input signals from various driver assistance sensors. If no active route guidance destination is set, the system intelligently predicts and uses the most probable travel route.

Depressing the accelerator pedal overrides and cancels the proactive deceleration intervention of the assistance system at any moment.

Eco Assist can be easily enabled or disabled within the assistance system settings menu inside the central infotainment system.

Eco Assist is temporarily deactivated under the following conditions:

• When the gear selector lever is shifted into the S (Sport) position.
• When the Sport driving program profile is actively selected.
• When driving under the active control of Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) or standard cruise control (GRA).

Once these temporary conditions no longer apply, Eco Assist functionality is automatically reactivated, provided it remains switched on in the assistance system settings.

Eco Assist is available depending on the vehicle's specific equipment level and is not offered in all countries or regional markets.

WARNING The Eco Assist system is designed purely to provide guidance and is never a replacement for continuous driver alertness and situational awareness.

• Always adapt your vehicle speed and driving style at all times to suit prevailing visibility, weather conditions, road surface quality, and traffic flow.
• Actual physical road signs posted along the highway and official traffic regulations always take absolute priority over eco-driving dashboard prompts.

• The visual appearance of the dashboard symbols may vary slightly depending on your vehicle's specific electronics equipment and software version. Over-the-air or workshop system updates may occasionally modify or expand the displayed symbols.
• When the system is active, Eco Assist may also modulate and increase energy recuperation smoothly without displaying any explicit visual prompt on the screen. This behavior occurs in situations such as when you release the accelerator pedal while a slower vehicle is driving ahead of you; in this scenario, brake energy recuperation is dynamically matched to the speed of the leading vehicle silently.
