Sun blind

Fig. 113 Sun visor
Options for adjusting driver and front passenger sun visors
- Lower the sun visor downward towards the windscreen glass.
- The sun visor can be unclipped from its inner retaining bracket and swiveled sideways towards the door glass ››› Fig. 113 1.
- Swing the sun visor towards the side window and slide it lengthwise backward or forward to block side glare.
An integrated vanity mirror with a sliding protective cover is fitted into the sun visor. Opening the sliding cover 2 automatically turns on the overhead mirror light.
The light switches off automatically when the vanity mirror cover is closed or when the sun visor is swung back up into its stowed roof position.
WARNING Unfolded or improperly positioned sun visors can obstruct your view of traffic signs, signals, and the road ahead.
- Always swivel and return sun visors to their parked home positions when protection from glare is no longer required.
Note The overhead illumination above the vanity mirror automatically turns off after a few minutes under specific conditions to protect the 12-volt vehicle battery from draining.
