Seat Leon >> Driving with the speed warning function
Operating conditions
The speed warning function provides active alerts whenever your Seat Leon travels at speeds exceeding 20 km/h.
Connection and disconnection
Depending on regional market regulations, the speed warning function is automatically activated every time the ignition is switched on.
If desired, you can manually deactivate the speed warning feature through the central infotainment system:
1. Open the Assistance systems menu on the touchscreen display.
2. Switch the speed warning on or off in the designated submenu.
OR: deactivate it directly from the multifunction steering wheel controls:
1. Open the driver assistants menu by pressing button
.
2. Highlight and switch off the Speed warning option.
Activating and deactivating the audible warning
Within the central infotainment system:

3. Enable or disable the audible chime using the corresponding option checkbox.
Note The audible warning chime defaults to activated whenever the ignition is switched on.
