Removing:

  • Remove centre console.
  • Unclip connectors -A- of the handbrake warning switch - F9- -B-.
  • Clip out the securing tabs -arrows- of the handbrake warning switch - F9- -B- and remove.

Brakes - mechanism

  • Loosen the adjustment nut -1- until the handbrake cable -2- can be removed from the compensator.

  • Remove the screws -arrows- and take off the handbrake lever.

Installation:

Carry out installation in the reverse sequence, noting the following:

  • Install the parking brake lever -arrow- and tighten the screws to the required torque.

  • Insert the handbrake cable -2- into the compensator and tension the handbrake cable with the adjustment nut -1-.
  • Adjust handbrake.
  • Install centre console.
