Seat Leon >> Pedals
- Make sure that you can always press the accelerator, brake, and clutch pedals firmly and without any physical interference or restriction.
- Ensure that all pedals are free to return completely and unimpaired to their initial resting positions immediately after your foot is lifted.
- Ensure that the floor mats installed in your Seat Leon are securely fastened in place throughout the entire trip and do not shift or obstruct the pedal travel area.
Only use manufacturer-approved floor mats that leave the pedal cluster entirely clear and incorporate proper attachment systems to prevent them from slipping or bunching up. You can obtain suitable, perfectly fitted floor mats from any authorized specialized dealership. Dedicated fasteners and anchor points for securing floor mats are factory-fitted directly into the front footwells of your Seat Leon.
Wear suitable footwear
Always wear appropriate shoes that support your feet properly, offer a secure grip, and give you a precise, sensitive feel for the pedals while driving your Seat Leon.
WARNING
- Restricting normal pedal operation in any way can lead to critical, hazardous situations while driving.
- Never lay or fit extra floor mats or other floor coverings on top of the original factory floor mats. This dangerous practice would reduce the available pedal clearance area and could obstruct the pedals during emergency braking or acceleration, creating a severe risk of an accident.
- Never place loose objects, bottles, or bags in the driver's footwell under any circumstances.
Any stray object could easily roll or slide into the pedal area, blocking the pedals and severely impairing safe vehicle operation.
