Removing and installing rear vent air duct
Removal:
- Turn off the ignition and all electricity consumers.
Vehicles without access and start authorisation system
- Remove ignition key, if fitted.
Vehicles with access and start authorisation system
- Store ignition key outside the vehicle to prevent the ignition from being switched on unintentionally.
Continued for all vehicles
- Remove trim with vent.
- Detach the air duct -1- to the rear.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
Rear centre console air duct: Removing and installing
Removal:
- Turn off the ignition and all electricity consumers.
Vehicles without access and start authorisation system
- Remove ignition key, if fitted.
Vehicles with access and start authorisation system
- Store ignition key outside the vehicle to prevent the ignition from being switched on unintentionally.
Continued for all vehicles
- Disconnect battery.
- Remove the centre console.
- Swivel the air duct -1- upwards at the rear -arrow A-, release it from the fastener at the air distribution housing -2- -arrow B- and detach.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
